Jenness Farms Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for centuries in the home, for medical and for personal use.  We make no health claims but are proud of the fact that our cider isn’t pasteurized- a true ‘raw’ food- or processed in any way.  No water is added to dilute- just 100% pure fermented apple cider vinegar in every bottle. You’ll notice that unlike store brands that claim to include the ‘mother’ our vinegar continues to form new ‘mother’ as it ages, proof that it’s still alive and working!

Fermenting fresh apple cider to vinegar is a multi-year process that begins in the orchard where we collect fresh apples from trees and press the juice. After storing in barrels for at least two years, the apple cider ferments into a complex and surprisingly smooth vinegar.  We use apples that haven’t been sprayed with pesticides and the finished product continues to mature and develop. So if you don’t use the vinegar right away, it will continue getting better and smoother right in the bottle.

What is 'mother?'

The 'mother' is strands of proteins, enzymes, and friendly bacteria that gives ACV a murky, cobweb-like appearance. There are many benefits of using raw apple cider vinegar with the mother included.
